SPOTLIGHT ON SHANE:

Hi, my name is SHANE. I am part St. Bernard but not that big - I'm
a medium-sized dog who was born sometime in 2000. Sadly, I was a
victim of divorce. My family could no longer keep me, so the volunteers
at the sanctuary took me in - I'm very glad they did. I consider
myself to be a sweet dog - I'll shake your hand once I get to know
you. I have some allergy problems, so I'm considered to be a special
needs dog. I definitely don't do well around pine along with some
other things. Due to my allergies, I'd prefer to be an inside dog
as long as I get some time and exercise outside. I also take thyroid
pills each day, but taking them is no big deal for me. I hope giving
them to me would not be a big deal for you either! If you're looking
for an older dog who is kind and quiet and a good watch dog, then
I’m your man. I would rather be in a home without any other
dogs - just having you would be fine with me.
Shane is neutered, house trained, microchipped and up to date with
his routine shots.
