SPOTLIGHT ON KOSMO:

Hi, my name is KOSMO. I’ve been referred to as a “BAGLE”
– a Beagle and Bassett Hound mix. I was born around May 2006
and I am housetrained. I wasn’t very happy in my previous
home. The kids weren’t that nice to me, so I have some trust
issues. Don’t take it personally if I don’t warm up
to you right away. But let me tell ya – when I do warm up,
you won’t be able to resist my charm and my ability to make
you laugh. While the volunteers at the sanctuary don’t think
I see them, I notice how much they crack up when they watch me run
around the field chasing my buddies or running after a toy - I think
it’s my short legs. It’s these short legs that give
me the benefit of being able to sit in your lap – once I get
to know you of course.
While I enjoy hanging out with my current buddies (both dog and
people kind), I would love a forever home. It should be a home without
children though. Other dogs are OK by me. I think cats would be
OK too. Did I mention that I love to ride in cars? One other thing
– I’ve heard my buddies whisper lately that I’ve
put on a few pounds. So, diet and exercise will be key in my new
home.
What do ya say? I think you should give me a chance. I’ll
do my best to make you happy, although from what I've heard, I won't
have to try hard.
Kosmo is house-trained, neutered, microchipped and up to date with
his shots.
