PRISCILLA

Priscilla was left in a box over the weekend of January 17,
2009, at the door of a local veterinary office. The staff
found her when they opened the clinic on Monday. Priscilla
was severely emaciated and completely blind. She had a microchip,
but it was not registered. Priscilla spent a few days in the
loving care of an ECAH foster home, but then it become time
to humanely euthanize her as she was suffering from kidney
failure. We will never know whether somebody found her in
this state, or whether it was her owner who decided to cowardly
abandon her. Our vet estimates that she was about 18 years
old, so hopefully Priscilla had a good and long life before
she was treated like garbage. Good night Priscilla and we
are happy we could at least fill your final days with love
and dignity.
