SPOTLIGHT ON BEAUTY:

Hi, my name is BEAUTY. I am a medium-sized German Shepherd mix who
was born in August 2005. I look a lot like my sister Reese, who
also lives at the sanctuary.
I’ll admit that I’m pretty shy. When I first arrived
at the sanctuary, I wouldn’t go near anyone. I have to say
though that I’ve come a long way since then. I actually enjoy
getting petted now and will even approach the volunteers. I love
to play with other dogs and I am quite the runner – maybe
I have distant greyhound relatives. I’ve heard some of the
other girl dogs whisper that I’m also quite the flirt. I do
find some of the male dogs at the sanctuary very handsome, especially
Bailey (a husky chocolate lab) and Shane (a distinguished older
gentleman). Go ahead – click on their pictures too –
you’ll agree with me.
As to what I’m looking for in a home, I would like someone
who will have patience with me and who will give me space and time
to become the confident dog that I know I can be. It won’t
happen overnight. But I know with all my heart that it can and will
happen with the right person. And I think the right person is you!
Beauty is house-trained, crate-trained, spayed and up to date on
her shots.
